Comoy's Briar Pipe Collection
Comoy's became established in 1825, one of the oldest pipe trademarks in the world and respected as creating some of the finest pipes made. Starting out in Saint-Claude, François Comoy began making traditional pipes from clay, boxwood and beech. Soon discovering that briar had superior qualities, by 1848, Comoy's were using it exclusively. Françoiss son, Henri moved to London and set up a small factory. The factory grew and "LONDON MADE" was proudly stamped onto finished pipes. Comoy's remained a family company up until the early 1980s when it started to be run by Cadogan who have kept producing Comoy's pipes as their flagship brand.
