Gawith Hoggarth's American SP Blend (Sweet Peach) is a blend of mature sweet Virginias, Burley and Cavendish tobaccos flavoured with sweet punchy peach. The taste comes through in delightful waves and does not overpower the base tobacco. They mingle and meld to give a rich gustatory sensation which satisfies the smoker. Others around you may ask, "What are you smoking?" as the pleasant aroma of the smoke floats by them, "Where can I get some?"
The tantalising fragrance upon opening the packaging of this blend is like peach liqueur with a hint of caramel sweetness and a tinge of smokiness. The ribbon tobaccos are golden brown and chestnut with speckles of black. It is a pleasure to pack into a bowl and lights with ease, remaining lit without too much trouble. After you've finished smoking there is only fine grey ash and no sticky residue.
