Gawith Hoggarth'sAmerican Kentucky 'N' Blend (Nougat) has a base of Black Cavendish tobacco with a fair portion of gold Virginia and a mellow topping of creamy toffee with cocoa. Though this is an aromatic, it is a light blend that would please most, from the beginner to the more experienced and to those who rarely stray from pure tobaccos. Sweet as it is, the garnish is not cloying and readily allows forward the natural sweetness of the Cavendish and Virginia.
The ribbons of golden brown enrobed in strips of black entices the eye while the texture blandishes the fingers into pinching and packing it into a pipe. It enkindles effortlessly and gives ample quantities of creamy smoke that's gentle on the tongue. Slowly burning down to a dry ash, this tobacco is moreish even after a lengthy smoke. Delightful!
