Gawith Hoggarth | Louisiana Flake Pipe Tobacco | 25g Loose
Gawith Hoggarth's Louisiana Flake is a scrumptious blend of Virginia, Perique and Burley with the addition of cocoa, vanilla and mild floral essences. This modest nutty chocolate flavour works wondrously with the base tobacco and harmonises with the light Perique content, which in itself delivers fruity and mildly spicy elements. Altogether a well balanced tobacco.
The long, medium cut flakes are a range of golden brown to darker bistre, flowing and coiling, with a speckling of yellow throughout. The packet aroma is Lakeland, with hot chocolate and Virginia sweetness. As pleasurable to load your pipe with as it is to smoke, it burns evenly, coolly and long. A highly recommended blend.
