The Montecristo Petit Tubos was introduced in the mid-1980s. Presented in a cedar-lined aluminium tube, it's the perfect travelling companion. Montecristo is the best-known and probably the most appreciated Cuban cigar brand of Habanos throughout the world. It forms the benchmark for many Habanos smokers against which other brands are judged. Montecristo cigars offer a unique aroma and appeal equally to new and experienced smokers.
In 2004, Montecristo introduced a new cigar with a 52-ring gauge, the Edmundo. This new size recognised the trend for bigger gauge sizes, and a shorter version, the Petit Edmundo, followed two years later.
Montecristo’s perfectly balanced blends are created exclusively with selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone, home of the finest tobaccos in the world.
