Peterson of Dublin Heritage System Smooth Briar Pipe - 302
The new Heritage finish from Peterson is a deep walnut and burgundy stain and is a nod to the 1890s when their pipes were dressed in this dark style. Each layer is carefully applied by hand and then polished to a high satin finish and strikes a balance between the grain and the stain's hue.
The P. Lip that followed in 1898 allows the smoke to hit the roof of the mouth and not the tongue. This eliminates tongue bite and allows the smoker to appreciate the tobacco.
