Rattrays Monarch Black 9mm Briar Smoking Pipe - Shape 4
Celebrating the union between England and Scotland, the history of which Rattrays urges you to explore, whilst smoking one of these Monarch Light pipes.
In fact, the pipes in the range are very good, the bowls have a smooth finish with a jet-black matte stain.
A wide chrome ring where the mouthpiece fits may not be to everyone's taste but the way the fishtail mouthpiece fits into the shank (it looks like a spigot fitting but it isn't) makes for nice eye candy.
The mouthpiece is an eye-catching acrylic yellow, with dark and light brown streaks, and compliments the bowl beautifully.
This is a 9mm filter pipe and is sold with one filter fitted in the stem. Please note there is no converter.
The pipe comes boxed and in a pipe bag.
So if you want to drill down into English/Scottish history this is the pipe to do it with.
