Opening the tin reveals a ready rubbed array of browns, from golden to black. The ex-flake is apparent though not dominant, giving you the choice to rub further or use as-is. With the aroma of pure tobaccos, this slightly sweet and rich blend may be suited to reserved occasions but is difficult to resist as an every day smoke. It burns long, clean and evenly, giving lots of creamy smoke fragranced with fruity Cavendish, smooth smoky Latakia and elegantly sweet Virginia.

Solani History...
Having achieved stunning success in 1968 with the creation of the original blends for Borkum Riff it was in 1997 Rudiger L.Will developed the Solani range of pipe tobaccos.
Having been born into the trade, his father owned a tobacco factory in Buende , Germany R.L. Will immersed himself in his passion for tobacco. He travelled to North Carolina and Virginia where he studied tobacco growing, its handling and manufacture.
He is also responsible for the Reiner line of pipe tobaccos now highly regarded for their quality, taste and aroma.
