By replacing your "Cotton and Felt" insert, it keeps your Zippo lighter working at optimum performance. The Zippo "Cotton" (wadding) retains the petrol in you lighter and keeps the wick saturated.
Overtime the "Cotton" retains less and less fuel and your Zippo lighter will need refilling more often. The "Felt" is also included in this pack. This is the part that is lifted up to fill your zippo lighter.
