Robert McConnell Scottish Cake is a widely enjoyed, loosely broken flake of Kentucky, Perique and Virginia. You may smoke as-is or rub further if you prefer, this tobacco is well behaved and takes the flame effortlessly. To produce an even flavour, the tobaccos have been pressed for a prolonged period of time, to let the small amounts of Kentucky and Perique imbue their flavours into the red Virginia. The woody flavours from the Kentucky are balanced by stewed fruit from the Perique and they lay upon a bed of mildly citrus-tangy Virginia, all enveloped in a warm richness and spice. Throughout the bowl the tobacco slowly evolves, keeping it enjoyable time and again.
